This is a 40hr/wk, 3-6 month contract which offers:

Responsibilities:1. Conduct behavioral experiments with human participants using virtual reality technology and psychophysiological measurement tools.
2. Work with staff on participant recruitment, screening and scheduling.
3. Enter data into research databases.
4. Work with staff on NIH Clinical Center data systems and procedures.
5. Provide support for research projects e.g., data coding and literature review.
6. Execute plans for development of new research protocols.
7. Enter data into research databases; analyze and interpret data from protocols and experiments; make modifications as needed.
8. Prepare summaries and reports based on data findings and results.
9. Attend laboratory meetings and present findings to staff.
Qualifications:1. BS/BA in psychology, behavioral science, or public health.
2. Minimum of one 1 year of experience working on behavioral science research studies with human subjects including independent project or school studies.
3. Strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn how to use new hardware and software.
4. Ability to successfully work both independently and closely with a research team.
5. Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
6. Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a variable working environment.
7. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
8. Must be available to work these hours: The 40 Hour/week schedule includes M-F daytime, 2-3 evenings per week (example 12:30-8:30 p.m.), and 2-3 weekend days/month (example 9-5). This is a team effort; you will not work alone.
