Did you know 1 in 4 Americans age 18 to 22 are affected by a mental illness? Did you know suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in college students, but the only one that is 100% preventable? Do you want to do something about the stigma of mental illness? Join the movement to change the conversation about mental health that is going on NOW!
Active Minds at Maryland is a student-run organization that focuses on advocacy and education to raise awareness about mental illness in college populations. We are a group run by students for students, and we need YOU! We are looking for any and all students, regardless of major, that want to make a difference on campus.
