Honor UMD Veterans on Friday, November 9 in Memorial Chapel!
The Veterans Day Celebration at the Chapel, capping a full week of Veteran activities, will be memorable. Three Veterans who are part of the University family will share their stories: Valarie R. Austin, a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point currently receiving her second Bachelor of Science degree; Robert Mueck, Captain with the University of Maryland Police and Training Director of the UMD Police Academy; and David Boucher, a Pat Tillman Military Scholar alumnus now working in private industry.
The program, open to all, will take place on
Friday, November 9 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.and will conclude with a festive lunch in the Memorial Chapel Garden. Thanks to a generous donor, your presence will help to build the Veterans scholarship fund.
