The Ivymount School is actively recruiting recent college graduates to fill entry-level Assistant
Teacher positions for the 2016-2017 school year. Please consider joining a nationally recognized school for students with special needs and make a meaningful impact on our students’ lives. The Ivymount School currently serves over 200 students, ages 4 through 21, and has a long history of providing educational programs and therapeutic services for students with disabilities through evidence-based instruction and interventions. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity to work with students who have learning disabilities. The Ivymount School offers employees both professional development and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.

Available Positions:
Multiple Learning Needs Program • 1:1 Assistant Teacher- This position is responsible for the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, direct supervision, and support for assigned students during educational activities across the day.

Model Asperger Program • Assistant Teacher- This position works with various students throughout the day and is a part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team that collaboratively develops highly individualized programming. Assistant Teacher positions are available at the Rockville Campus and in the District of Columbia. Autism Program •

ABA Instructor- Applied Behavior Analysis Instructors provide individual and small group instruction throughout the school day. An integral role of the ABA Instructor position is the collection and analysis of skill acquisition and behavior intervention data.

Qualifications:
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Education preferred. Experience working with individuals with special needs and knowledge of applied behavior analysis is preferred, although not necessary. Ivymount provides comprehensive training for all new employees. P
