School Psychologist Positions with the District of Columbia Public Schools!
The District of Columbia Public Schools is searching for School Psychologists with the desire to make a difference in the lives of children. Positions are for the 2014-2015 school year.
Roles and Responsibilities:-Provide a full range of school psychological services to children grades pre-K through 12, including screening and assessment, designing remedial educational programs, and individual and group counseling with school staff.
-Member of the school's multidisciplinary team to interpret evaluation results and determine the student's eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress.
Qualifications:-Master's Degree in School Psychology, Educational or Clinical Psychology
-500 hours of satisfactory field experience in a school setting
-Certification as a School Psychologist by the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE)
