Research Assistant Position (Full-Time)New York UniversityConceptual Development and Social Cognition LabDescription:Full-time research assistant to coordinate research on the development of social cognition in young children. The research assistant will work primarily on an NSF-Funded Project examining the development of social categorization.
Responsibilities:-Conduct experiments with infants, children, and adults in lab, museum, and school based settings
-Train and supervise undergraduate research assistants
-Manage and maintain budgets, lab web pages, and participant recruiting systems
-Work with local museums and schools to recruit participants and organize data collection
-Provide general support to researchers
Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Cognitive Science
-One year or more of research experience
-Excellent computer and communication skills
-Strong organizational, computational, managerial, problem solving, and analytical skills
