Dr. Grady Weighs in on Michael Vick Concussion Testing
Penn Neurosurgery chair, M. Sean Grady, MD, weighs in on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback post-concussion testing.
In an interview with 6ABC Action News, Dr. Grady discusses the results of Michael Vick’s Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing (IMPACT) report.
According to Dr. Grady, failing an IMPACT test two weeks after a concussion is not unusual, especially for an athlete who has been injured before: "Individuals who have a history of concussions have more difficulty getting back to where they were in terms of a baseline performance, and the recovery itself takes longer."
