Your new editor is…
… Dr Christian Jarrett!
Back in March we were extremely sorry to lose Christian, even if excited for him going off to pastures new. So when he contacted me the following month to say that his new role had not worked out, the possibility we could get him back in post seemed too good to miss.
Of course there was a discussion over whether a return was the right thing for either party. We talked, slept on it, spoke again and realised that we were both genuinely excited about working together again to take the Research Digest to the next level.
I apologise wholeheartedly to those who applied for the new role. However, of those who we had invited to interview, I have spoken to some and feel sure we will work with them in a freelance capacity in the near future. Do keep an eye on the blog for new opportunities.
All that remains is for me hand back to our new full-time editor of the Research Digest, Dr Christian Jarrett, who would like to say a few words before we move on – into a new morning that is looking brighter than ever.
