Research Assistant Position
Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER)
Description:
The Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER) within the UMD Department of Psychology is seeking volunteer undergraduate research assistants for a study examining risky sexual behavior in a sample of undergraduate students. Flexible hours are offered but preference will be given to students who can commit at least 4 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
-Running participants
-Preparing study materials
-Data entry
Qualifications:
-Prerequisites: PSYC 100 and PSYC 200 or relevant experience coursework in social science or health related fields
-3.0 or higher GPA
-Dependability, punctuality, enthusiasm, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
-Experience working with SPSS and Excel is preferred, but not necessary
