KNES498L Adapted physical activity, recreation and sports for people with disabilities (3 credits). ONLINE Study of adapted physical activity and its impact on the health and wellness of individuals with disabilities. Design and instruction of physical activity and sports programs for people with disabilities. Course includes disability awareness, etiology of disabling conditions, motor learning and instructional principles, and curriculum models applicable to the design of physical activity, recreation and sports programs for people with disabilities.
