Student Health Advisory Committee
The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is now accepting applications for new members for the 2011-2012 academic years! SHAC is a coalition of students working closely with the University Health Center to promote health across the campus community as the student voice of the health center. As a SHAC member, not only would you get to interact behind the scenes with University Health Center staff, but you will also have opportunities to work behind-the-scenes to promote health at outreach events like First Look Fair, Late Night Maryland, and Maryland Day. As a member of SHAC, you will have the opportunity to not only help improve the services of the Health Center, but work to improve the health and well being of the University of Maryland.
