Research Assistant Positions Maryland Child and Family Development LabDescription:The Maryland Child and Family Development Lab is looking for excellent, dedicated RAs! Students can earn course credit, or just volunteer to acquire valuable research experience working with children and families! The lab is currently running two studies.
The first study, Promoting Secure Attachment in Preschool Children, focuses on a randomized controlled trial for an intervention entitled Circle of Security-parenting in Baltimore. This intervention is aimed at promoting secure attachment in preschool children attending Head Start. Questionnaires will be collected from parents and interactions between parents and their preschool children will be recorded. In addition, the study will administer tasks to assess children's helping, sharing, and comforting behaviors.
