The ATN Lab's mission is to have a deep impact on the fields of affective and translational neuroscience. The lab performs innovative studies in an effort that will lead to important discoveries that will be disseminated widely through mentoring trainees to become top notch scientists. The work of the Affective & Transitional Lab is geared toward identifying mechanisms that link high levels of anxiety to psychopathology. The lab will assist trainees in cultivating the skills necessary to secure positions at top-tier schools. Methods utilized in the lab include fMRI, VBM, ERP/EEG, cortisol, facial EMG, eye-tracking, behavioral economic games, and experience sampling.
Qualifications:
-Be intelligent, productive, sensible, passionate,
and fearless in the face of technical and logistical challenges.
-Hardworking, creative visionary who can actively contribute to a positive lab environment.
