Mentors needed for City of Rockville Elementary Schoolers!


City of Rockville Mentoring Program
Elementary School Students

The City of Rockville is looking for individuals to mentor elementary school children.

-One after school hour per week
-October-May
-No mentoring during school breaks and holidays
-Training and ongoing support provided
-Meet with mentee in group setting with other mentors/mentees

This program is offered at different sites on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon. The children are referred by their teacher, school counselor, or child's parents and tend to need help academically and/or socially (need a friend/encouragement). The program runs October through May.
