Program Specialist $12.54
Responsible for implementing program activities and direct supervision to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in a community based setting. A behavioral background and experience is preferred. Individual must be imaginative, energetic and full of enthusiasm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing IP’s, maintaining main and site books, maintaining quarterly reports, supervising staff, coordinating and/or assisting in the implementation and supervision of community outings, and ensuring the health and safety of the program participants at all times. Must have desire to work in a day program setting w/ adults who need hands-on assistance. Must be able to lift 25 lbs +. Requires H.S./GED diploma. Community Guide
Develop and implement creative, stimulating community outings program. Transport and supervise participants and staff while on community outings. Complete necessary follow-up and documentation. · Male client in Adelphi has 15 hours for going to gym, shopping and recreational activities
· Female client in Upper Marlboro needs support Monday-Friday from 3pm-8pm and Saturday or Sunday
· Female client in Upper Marlboro has 14 hours per week
