Enhance the life of a child with autism as an Early Intervention Intern!
EARLY INTERVENTION INSTRUCTIONAL THERAPIST: Internships/Externships (Germantown & Gaithersburg, MD)

Requirements:
Enrolled or graduated from a college or university
Coursework in psychology, education, or other social services fields.
Must have own transportation to support family residences, community locations, schools offices etc.
Provide a minimum of 8 in-home therapy hours per week with a child diagnosed with autism
Attend a weekly 1-hour team meeting at our East Village office
Gain Experience:
Learn how to conduct one-to-one positive behavioral therapy with a child in his/her own home or preschool classroom.
Learn how to track data measuring the child’s performance.
Complete a comprehensive training program (CPR/First Aid certification included).
Experience working collaboratively supported by Ph.D. supervision.
For interns and externs, freedom to create your own projects related to autism to match your specific university program requirements.
Benefits:
Flexible part-time hours (8-24 hours/per week)
Morning, afternoons, weekends
Ongoing clinical training and support
Opportunities for growth and advancement
Valuable work experience for psychology education and social services majors & future applicants to graduate school!
Starting rate: $10.75 per hour including paid training, $15.00 per hour upon successful completion of required training
Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC), is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting persons diagnosed with autism.
