Description:
The Cross-Cultural Lab is looking for highly motivated research assistants interested in acquiring hands-on research experience in cross-cultural psychology. Currently, the lab is conducting studies
investigating the role of social class on behavior and cognition among adults and children. The lab is interested in bringing on individuals who have experience and/or interest in developmental psychology and working with children, and also those who are interested in working with adults. Research assistants will be trained in high-level research skills and gain experience recruiting and coordinating participants, running experimental studies, and assisting with data entry and analysis. These positions offer a great learning opportunity for undergraduates who have a strong academic background and a passion for psychology. Research assistants will also have the opportunity for one-on-one meetings where they may develop personal research skills, and get feedback on goals and postgraduate applications.

Responsibilities:
-Minimum 8 hours per week
-Minimum one semester recruitment
-Assist with recruitment and coordination of child and adult participants
-Assist with running experimental studies
-Potential weekend data collection for developmental studies
-Assist with coding, data entry, and data analysis

Qualifications:
-Highly motivated
-Detail oriented
-Good interpersonal skills
-Minimum 3.2 GPA
