Become a PAL Mentor for students who want peer support!
Description:
The Learning Assistance Service of the University Counseling Center sponsors the Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) program which matches successful students with students who might need some peer support in the area of time management, organization, learning strategies, or tutoring.
The PAL program is a great option for any student who is thinking about going into one of the helping professions. PALs receive extensive training and are eligible for certification from the College Reading and Learning Association.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Paola Hernandez Baron, the PAL coordinator, at 301-314-7693, and click here for more information.
